  5. ICE is an integrated multi-currency, multi-company accounting system using a
  6. central database to store all data at transaction level. ICE is very powerful,
  7. with a flexible 14-character nominal code, three 11-character analysis codes
  8. and nine six-character re-sort codes. The re-sort codes enable ICE to produce
  9. charts of accounts in multiple formats to comply with different countriesâ•’
  10. standards. ICE can handle an unlimited number of different currencies and can
  11. produce exposure forecasts based on anticipated exchange rate movements. The
  12. system automatically calculates profits and losses on exchange differences on
  13. full and partial allocations of cash. The system has a powerful report
  14. generator which enables virtually any type of management report to be produced
  15. quickly and easily. ICE has been upgraded to comply with the current 1993 EC
  16. VAT requirements, and any future changes will be incorporated as they are
  17. announced.
